

A | (ECNS) -- More than 60 countries, regions and international organizations have confirmed that they will host exhibitions or events at the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), while nearly 300 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders are expected to attend, Zhao Qizhou, director of the Beijing International Trade in Services Affairs Center, said on Wednesday. Speaking at a media briefing in Beijing, Zhao said this year's CIFTIS will focus on enhancing "China Services" by showcasing service sector policies, successful case studies and innovative solutions. For the first time, the fair will feature an overseas expansion services promotion area, where companies and professional institutions from sectors such as finance, legal services, accounting, intellectual property, advertising, and human resources will work to help Chinese businesses expand abroad. The 2026 CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from Sept. 9 to 13.
